Role Overview

Yooralla is seeking a passionate and positive relationship builder, experienced in a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, to join our team as a permanent, full-time or part-time Pediatric Speech Pathologist. This meaningful role will deliver best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to children with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and live the lives they choose.

Your responsibilities may include:

delivering therapy in clients' homes, educational settings, or community environments; focusing on enhancing functional skills and participation while promoting physical health and wellbeing improving communication skills and ensuring mealtime safety while promoting overall health and wellbeing. collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists providing indirect client service and family coordination to support client objectives.

Candidate Profile

You will be a qualified and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a relevant tertiary qualification, a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), possessing strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and motivate individuals with disabilities. You will work collaboratively with children with disabilities to set and achieve goals, while also partnering with their families and support networks.

To excel in this role, you will share Yooralla's values and possess:
