Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of project-specific HSE systems, procedures and initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to site leadership, supervisors and workforce on health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Conduct assurance activities ensuring overall compliance with health, safety and environmental systems, procedures and initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety engagement and accountability at all levels through training, toolbox talks and visible field leadership.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure alignment with company and client expectations.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined practises towards onboarding activities for both employees and subcontractors alike.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Support reporting obligations including internal KPIs, client reports and regulator notifications.
  • Support the site construction leadership team with environmental compliance by leading training and education programs.

About You:

  • Mid-Senior level experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with site leadership, supervisors and workforce.
