Quality Assurance & Training Officer

We are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge and experience in governance, quality assurance, and training within aged care, disability, or health services.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and the Aged Care Act
  • Proven experience in training coordination, quality assurance, or governance within aged care, disability, or health services
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills to support a culture of learning, safety, and accountability
  • Ability to work collaboratively with managers, clinical leaders, and staff to implement governance processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Confidence in delivering engaging, practical training sessions that build staff capability and support person-centred care
  • Proactive and self-driven approach with the ability to identify gaps, solve problems, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities, audits, and compliance deadlines
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records, policies, and training documentation to support audit readiness
  • Passion for promoting dignity, respect, and choice in every aspect of care delivery
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and drive innovation in quality and training practices
Essentials
  • National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Up to date Influenza vaccination
  • Relevant qualification in health, aged care, disability, education, or quality/business management
  • Demonstrated experience in training, quality assurance, or governance within aged care, disability, or allied health
