About The Role

  • As a Residential Care Worker in this active night position, you'll be at the heart of an inspiring mission, playing a key role in the dynamic environment of our residential unit.

During these energetic overnight hours, you'll directly impact young lives by responding to their emotional and functional needs, guiding them through essential personal growth, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

You'll also take charge of administrative duties and help create a warm, supportive household atmosphere.

If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and thrive in an active, hands-on role, this is your chance to shine.

From cooking and cleaning to supporting with homework, appointments, and school runs, you'll be there every step of the way, helping these young individuals thrive.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or other similar tertiary qualifications).
  • A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate empathy for young people in care in an open-minded and nonjudgmental manner.
  • Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation, including setting and maintaining consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.
