Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Airside Team Member to join our dynamic team in Darwin. As a key member of our Airport Catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe loading and unloading of trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens.

  • Drive short distances and perform basic vehicle checks, including refueling.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
  • Guide and position trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handovers.
  • Coordinate with dispatch aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
  • Perform administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a clean MR or HR driver's license, with the ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.

  • Flexibility working around flight schedules essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Clear National Police Check required.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week, full-time permanent position.
