Job Title: Primary Group Facilitator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our primary group.

About the Role:
  • Develop, plan, and deliver engaging programs for children aged 0-6 years.
  • Maintain a safe environment, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Foster a positive team culture by setting an example and promoting respect among colleagues.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families to support their children's development and educational goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and teamwork.

This role requires a minimum of 12 months of experience as a primary group facilitator and a relevant qualification in early childhood education and care. We prioritize child safety and well-being, adhering to inclusive practices and Child Safe Organisation principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Development: Create innovative, age-appropriate programs that cater to diverse learning needs.
  2. Risk Management: Continuously assess and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a secure environment for children.
  3. Team Leadership: Demonstrate leadership by fostering a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, and promoting open communication.
  4. Familial Relationships: Build strong relationships with families, providing support and guidance to help their children thrive.
  5. Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Education and Care or a related field from a nationally approved registered training organisation.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a primary group facilitator.
  • Proven ability to create engaging programs and maintain a safe environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
