We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Specialist to lead our team in Sydney.

  • Lead or support geotechnical and geological fieldwork (drilling, sampling, site investigations)
  • Data collection, interpretation, and reporting
  • Coordinate fieldwork logistics and subcontractors
  • Project delivery and client communication
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental systems

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering (Washington Accord-recognised)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage fieldwork and deliver reports confidently
  • A willingness to travel for site work as needed
  • Australian working rights (or a clear path to obtaining them)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Geotechnical Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and supporting geotechnical and geological fieldwork, including drilling, sampling, and site investigations. You will also be responsible for data collection, interpretation, and reporting, as well as coordinating fieldwork logistics and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage fieldwork
  • Australian working rights (or a clear path to obtaining them)
