Financial Analyst Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting support during the implementation of new corporate systems.

The role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing financial reports and presentations, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.

  • Assist in the execution of month-end, half-year, and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial models and forecasts, as well as analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial accounting function.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly around financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
