About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join our Systems and Financial Administration team at the Ministry of Health. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing NSW Health grants and ensuring compliance with policies, programs, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake financial and accounting activities in an Oracle R12 environment, including management reports and budget development analysis.
  • Support the Principal Finance Analyst in providing insights and other analytical support services to various programs, projects, and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with branches in the Ministry and the wider Health System to implement and maintain the grant system and other systems as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a financial or accounting discipline.
  • A working knowledge of the Grants Administration Guide.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
