Full-Time Administrative Support Role

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to provide administrative support to our executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating agendas, taking minutes, and preparing key documents.
- Coordinate agenda reports and take minutes for council/committee meetings.
- Assist in preparing key corporate documents.
- Ensure accurate electronic filing and document retrieval in the council's records management system.
- Support planning and coordination of infrastructure projects, including tracking progress and deadlines.
- Organize meetings, site visits, and conferences.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in local government is advantageous but not essential.
- Certificate in Business Administration.
- Experience supporting senior executives.
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A certificate in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting senior executives in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
