We strive to provide a caring, individualised, fun and supportive environment. **ABOUT THE ROLE** You will be supporting clients to live independently in shared accommodation or their own home. A typical day would be assisting with daily tasks, including; transport, cleaning, cooking, mealtime management, behaviour support, personal care, companionship and support to access community-based activities as well as appointments. Some shifts will be cleaning, light gardening and housekeeping only without direct client contact. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** - Support people with disability (including personal support) in the home and community settings - Maintain a high level of hygiene - Cleaning, gardening and general housekeeping - Thorough documentation - Assist with medication - Mealtime management - Behaviour support - Provide hands-on training & development of life skills to achieve quality outcomes - Build effective working relationships with other staff, clients, families and carers - Transport participants to activities and appointments as required (including in your own vehicle) **ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE PRE REQUISITES** - Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability (or willingness to obtain within 12 months) - Current NDIS Worker Clearance - Current National Police Clearance (< 3 months old) - Current Provide First Aid Certificate - Current full unrestricted South Australian Driver's License - Medication Training - Supporting people at mealtimes training - Restrictive practices and behaviour support knowledge and training Enquires regarding this role can be directed to Emma **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual **Salary**: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week **Benefits**: - Professional development assistance Schedule: - Shift work Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay - Penalty rates **Experience**: - community services: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - First Aid Certification (required) - NDIS Worker Clearance (required) - National Police Certificate (preferred) - Full Driver License (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
