DescriptionThis role involves supporting key functions to create a safer New South Wales by delivering on the Commission's strategic policy and project management functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development and management of policy and governance for a specific Commission Major Project. This includes supporting the development and implementation of policy initiatives that align with the Commission's strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Policy Development: Develop and implement policy briefs, reports, and other documentation as required.
- Advice and Support: Provide advice and support to senior managers on policy and governance matters.
- Policy Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Commission's policies and procedures.
- Project Management: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation, preferably in a government or law enforcement agency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to achieving project outcomes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
