Job Overview:We are seeking a Design Assurance Specialist to join our Energy practice in Victoria.
The Energy team at Hatch has grown organically over the past few decades and is well-established.
This role will be key in our regional Energy business and will join a strong global leadership team that delivers high-quality service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate technical interfaces with HVDC OEMs and cable contractors
- Verify design requirements
- Coordinate design submissions and ensure comment closeout
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes
- Plan, facilitate, and report on safety in design workshops
- Lead a small team of 3-5 people as part of project organization
- High Voltage Substation / Transmission experience in AC and/or DC systems
- Experience in the Australian (Victorian / Tasmanian) transmission market is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments
- Ability to collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
