You will conduct in-depth quantitative equity research, analyze portfolio construction, and utilize quantitative models to support investment decisions. Develop and maintain quantitative models to forecast portfolio performance and identify investment opportunities and weaknesses. Contribute to frameworks for monitoring overall portfolio construction and equity managers for performance and process anomalies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct quantitative equity research and analyze portfolio construction.
- Utilize quantitative models to support investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain quantitative models to forecast portfolio performance.
- Monitor and evaluate market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.
Experience within an investment manager or superannuation fund in an active management environment is required. Direct equity investment experience, multi-manager equity portfolio construction expertise, and quantitative portfolio modelling skills are essential. Working knowledge of YSYF and APRA regulations and reporting requirements is necessary. Understanding of ESG factors in the investment process and experience in undertaking research projects involving financial/trading data are also required.
