Inventory Management Specialist
Job Description:This role involves managing store inventory to maintain stock levels within set parameters.
Responsibilities include locating, ordering, and issuing parts efficiently, as well as processing invoices and job cards accurately.
The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with Managers, Supervisors, Equipment Operators, and Workshop Staff.
Maintenance of documentation and records for all parts and transactions is also crucial.
Additionally, identifying and minimizing obsolete or slow-moving stock is an essential part of the role.
General administrative functions may also be required on occasion.
Ensuring compliance with OHS policies by reporting hazards in the workplace is vital.
About You:- Self-motivation and a positive attitude are key.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary.
- Experience in a busy workshop or maintenance operation is beneficial.
- A strong technical aptitude and knowledge of auto and truck parts are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Team-oriented, punctual, and reliable individuals are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry is advantageous.
