Warehouse Assistant Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a physically demanding role and is able to provide exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products to customers throughout multiple suburbs in the Perth metro region.

This will involve frequent manual handling of gas cylinders of varying sizes, as well as assisting with iso tanker maintenance & repairs and delivering compressed gas cylinders to commercial customers.

In addition to their physical demands, this role also requires strong customer service skills, excellent time management skills and a proven safety driving record.

A minimum of MR Class driver's licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Safety at All Times:
  • Loading and delivery of bulk cylinder and individual cylinder products (including heavy lifting).
  • Management of administrative requirements including the use of a PDA (training provided).

Early starts are a requirement for this role and hours can vary depending on the workload. Some weekend and afternoon shifts may be required, as well as regional overnight runs if interested.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a strong background in customer service, mechanical aptitude and experience working with Dangerous Goods.
