Job Title: Thrift Shop Coordinator

A dedicated professional is sought to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a busy thrift shop.

About The Role

This part-time position, 15 hours per week, based in Taigum, QLD, requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage volunteers effectively. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop, maintaining effective communication with volunteers, and upholding the values of our organization at all times.

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of volunteers at the thrift shop.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with volunteers to ensure they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure the shop floor and storage areas are well-organized and tidy at all times.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient work roster.
  • Verify that sales transactions are balanced and accurate after each shift, with totals forwarded to the head office for banking purposes.
