As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring the stability and security of our technology solutions, and fostering a customer-focused technology environment that exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Technology Management: Define, implement, and refine the IT strategy and policy across SS&C Bluedoor Pty Limited, aligning with the company's strategic commercial priorities.
  • Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and implement potential emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Technology Operations: Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our technology solutions, implementing best practices for IT operations and security.
  • Project Delivery: Drive major change in technology architecture and infrastructure to achieve improved functionality, quality, and cost effectiveness, ensuring that all technology in the business is fit for purpose and in line with client demands.
  • Software Engineering and Client Service Management: Be responsible for engineering group to develop our core registry platforms in line with market expectations and client needs, leading our testing practices to ensure quality software code output.
  • Operations: Accountable for the governance, design, implementation, management of change, lifecycle, development, and support of core technologies, including cloud and on-premise infrastructure, virtualisation, compute, database, and storage services.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Direct major IT initiatives/projects to ensure they are completed to the appropriate quality standards, to budget, and within the timescales set, managing outsource, contract, and software vendors to ensure they deliver effective IT performance.
  • Leadership: Provide clear, decisive leadership and motivation across the technology function, establishing and delivering the enterprise vision and goals, aligning technology solutions, processes, resources, and capabilities with the company's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBA or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in tech leadership, delivering complex projects, preferably as a CTO, with a proven track record of developing wealth or asset management platforms, ideally Registry solutions for Superannuation or Managed Funds.
  • Skills and Competencies: An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills, strong commitment to developing team members, skill with organisational leadership, and growing talent at senior and leadership levels.
