Job Opportunity:

A senior accounting role is available for a talented professional to join our team in Southport. As an Intermediate Tax/Business Services Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements, providing tax planning services, and servicing a diverse client portfolio.

About the Position:
  • You will work closely with local and offshore team members to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of tax returns, BAS and financial statements
  • Provision of tax planning services
  • Servicing a diverse client portfolio
  • Collaboration with local and offshore team members
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years Australian public practice experience
  • Strong understanding of SME tax compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards them)
Essential Skills:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
