Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Grounds and Maintenance Attendant to work at our Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park in North Narrabeen, NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens, amenities cleaning, BBQ cleaning, park maintenance, and rubbish removal. A high standard and good eye for detail are required.

You will work over a 7-day roster including some weekends and possibly public holidays. You must be friendly, enthusiastic and available to work as part of a dynamic management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of grounds and gardens, including mowing, weeding, pruning, landscaping.
  • Incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
  • Service the splash park - cleaning, dosing, water balance, repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of public areas and facilities.
  • Assist with gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs and painting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • First Aid Level 2 (training available if required)
  • Current CPR (training available if required)
  • National Police Check clearance on onboarding
  • Working with Children Check or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience operating and maintaining equipment such as lawn mowers, edgers, sweepers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, sprayers, and basic hand tools
  • Well-developed communication and organization skills
  • Ability to interact with management professionally
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
