
Disability Sector Leader

This is a vital leadership position that oversees projects, provides policy analysis and guidance, supports effective team operation, stakeholder engagement, and ensures alignment with national initiatives and policy directions.
- The successful candidate will have high-level expertise in disability services, sector, and people with disability.
- They must possess high-level project management skills to manage complex projects with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills are required to engage and influence stakeholders.
This key role requires a proactive, self-driven individual with resilience to work in a constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice on ongoing and emerging issues and risks facing local providers in a dynamic state and national policy environment.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the team, supporting the State Manager and fulfilling leadership responsibilities as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government representatives, disability providers, and multiple stakeholders.
- Lead assigned projects, deliver objectives, fulfill monitoring and reporting obligations, and workplan targets, coordinating multiple stakeholders and streams of activity.
