Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for individuals with a passion for supporting adults and children with behaviour support plans.

About the Position:

  • We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality behaviour support services to our clients.
  • The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Applied Behaviour Analysis and working knowledge of positive behaviour support practices, relevant legislation and NSW policy.
  • You will work collaboratively within a trans-disciplinary team of therapists to develop and implement behaviour support plans that achieve positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development will ensure you stay up-to-date with best practice in behaviour support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting behaviour assessments and developing written behaviour support plans for complex behaviour referrals.
  • Providing behaviour support services to adults and children, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Contributing to the ongoing review of behaviour support systems and the provision of behaviour support in the NDIS context.
