About the Role:

In this role, you will be providing care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in Wagga Wagga.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home Assistance: Provide housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation support to our clients.
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support, and medication administration.
  • Transport: Provide transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.

About You:

  • Certificate III: Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • Medication Competency: Have medication competency is highly desirable.
  • Driver's License: Possess a provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a full comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Availability: Be available to work weekends and some weekdays.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
