We are seeking dedicated and experienced educators to join our Learning Mentor team at our Caulfield Campus. As a Learning Mentor, you will work collaboratively with teachers to enhance student learning through active cycles of inquiry, action, and reflection. Your role will involve identifying emerging learning or wellbeing opportunities and connecting students, parents, subject teachers, and Heads of House to support student growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a safe and productive environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Focus on developing students' General Capabilities/IB MYP Approaches to Learning Skills.
  • Provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong professional learning.
  • Model and uphold the school's values and behaviors.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Teaching qualifications with specialisation and experience in a specific learning area.
  • Experience embedding Approaches to Learning (IB) or General Capabilities (ACARA) skills across various curriculum areas.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy teaching experience to support student growth.
  • Current VIT Registration.
