Procurement Leadership Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished Category Manager to lead the procurement of the Engineering Category.

">

The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, developing and executing category strategies in consultation with business stakeholders.

">

Key responsibilities include:

">

- Developing and implementing group-wide category strategies.

">

- Collaborating with the category team to provide expertise and guidance on category strategy development.

">

- Ensuring that category strategies support the overall Procurement strategy and delivery of business objectives.

">

- Mentoring and guiding Category Management Specialists in carrying out all activities in line with the procurement strategy and policy.

">

- Tracking benefits and reporting for the portfolio of categories within the role scope.

">

- Conducting performance management activities for the team.

">

This senior leadership role plays a crucial part in leading the Procurement Department, driving continuous improvement programs, and promoting Procurement methods and policies across the organization.

">

The ideal candidate will have:

">

- Proven experience as a Category Manager or equivalent, driving procurement strategies.

">

- Extensive experience procuring engineering goods and services.

">

- Previous experience leading a team of strategic procurement specialists.

">

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

">

- Strong attention to detail and ability to influence at all levels.

">

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver successful outcomes for stakeholders.
