Overview of the Role

The Night Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of residents, managing night shift operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position involves working rotating shifts from 11pm – 7am.

  • Conduct nightly audits to verify accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
  • Manage night shift operations, including guest check-ins, responding to inquiries, and maintaining smooth operations.
  • Verify guest accounts, resolve discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Ensure security and safety of premises during night hours, monitoring CCTV systems, and addressing any concerns or emergencies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating reservations, processing payments, and maintaining records.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination between shifts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing needs, and resolving issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service/operations role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising accuracy and customer service.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience and skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
