Rostering Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rostering Coordinator to join our team at Randstad. As a Rostering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care services by managing staff rosters and coordinating services across Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate staff rosters, ensuring the right skill sets are aligned with client needs.
  • Coordinate rosters in line with care plans, employee skills, and program requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute rosters in advance, ensuring employees are informed promptly.
  • Maximize efficiency by managing leave, minimizing overtime, and ensuring rosters meet KPIs.
  • Ensure rosters comply with relevant awards/EBAs and adhere to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Provide staffing solutions when needed, including engaging external services.
  • Maintain accurate rostering data, address scheduling inquiries, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization, clients, field staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in rostering, with a strong understanding of healthcare standards.
  • Proficiency in using rostering systems within the healthcare industry or similar.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of employment agreements, awards, and scheduling best practices.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities in busy environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards, WHS policies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
