Position Overview

The Research Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the management and execution of research initiatives at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $100,210 - $119,925 (p.a.) (prorata)
  • Total Effective Package: $122,971 - $145,252 (p.a.)(pro rata)*
  • Employment Type: Part Time or Full Time (0.4FTE - 1FTE), Maximum Term Contract

About the Research Team

The research team at Congress is dedicated to delivering comprehensive primary health care services to Aboriginal communities in the region. Collaborating with research institutions nationwide, the team focuses on enhancing understanding and improving service delivery related to the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in Central Australia. The team comprises various roles, including Research Manager, Senior Researchers, and Evaluation Officers, all working together to achieve optimal outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

The Research Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the coordination and implementation of research projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating community and stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborating with external research organizations
  • Supervising a diverse team across multiple functions
  • Providing training and support to staff
  • Liaising with external organizations as needed

This role is essential for ensuring that research initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with the organization's goals.
