
Auto Repair Specialist

You will play a pivotal part in maintaining and improving our service offerings by delivering top-notch preventive maintenance services to our customers.
About the Job- As a trusted professional, you will evaluate customer needs and perform essential maintenance tasks to keep their vehicles running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly document and perform work as outlined on repair orders adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Drain oil from crankcases and refill with the required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters according to manufacturer specifications.
- Regularly inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish or replace them as necessary.
- Verify tire pressure and add air if needed.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area at all times.
- Be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Operate all equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership standards.
- Conduct thorough test drives of vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Provide clear communication to the Service Advisor regarding any additional services required for customers.
- Offer accurate estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- A strong eagerness to continuously improve and develop skills.
- Entry-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience.
- Strong physical dexterity and ability to work with tools.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- A positive and friendly attitude, along with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications.
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
