About the role
We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in Dandenong South, VIC. As a full-time Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in our specialized service truck bodies.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in a variety of commercial vehicles
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical components and systems
- Perform electrical system testing and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Collaborate with the broader team to deliver efficient and effective vehicle servicing
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Auto Electrical or Automotive Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in a commercial vehicle or fleet environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
