Mental Health Navigation Specialist

As a key member of the Mental Health Department, you will play a crucial role in coordinating patient flow across all inpatient units. Your responsibility will be to link directly with broader patient flow for the hospital, ensuring seamless care delivery.
About the Role- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and advanced clinical management skills within mental health acute care settings.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide adaptable services that meet consumer care needs in the most suitable environment.
- Apply principles of clinical risk management, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice to the clinical setting.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Holding or working towards relevant specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
- Substantial relevant psychiatric nursing experience or credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or equivalent.
