About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Finance Manager to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of the Group Treasury Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the daily reporting process for the Chief Investment Office within Group Treasury Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a calendar of Treasury Finance management reporting deliverables
  • Advisory role on reporting process improvements and support to related projects
  • Key interface between Treasury Front Office, Business Units, Group Finance and Risk teams
  • Manage a range of management reporting outputs including Daily P&L Reporting process for Group Treasury Chief Investment Office
  • Support periodic review of financial reporting controls and reconciliations in line with group policy
  • Implement all audit recommendations as per agreed deadlines
  • Support role in Treasury's half year and year end statutory reporting processes
  • Build and maintain a productive relationship with key stakeholders across the Group

Requirements:

  • Proven communicator with stakeholders, who can demonstrate capacity to work to tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of financial products (such as Fixed Income, FX & IR Derivatives, Debt Issuances, etc.)
  • Ability to analyse & solve complex problems involving transactions spanning multiple Business Units
  • Experience with database query tools (particularly SQL), excel, Tableau and/or Ability to price simple financial products will be looked upon favourably
