Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking experienced nurses to join our team in the Emergency Department at a large private hospital in Melbourne's east. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate Nursing Care: Supervise and coordinate the care of patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Professional Development: Maintain a professional development portfolio, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- Largest Private Hospital in Victoria: We are the largest private hospital in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people.
- 24/7 Emergency Department: Our Emergency Department operates 24/7, providing a range of medical and surgical specialty areas.
- Latest Technology and Expertise: We have the latest technology and expertise, including 15 theatres and diagnostic cardiology.
- Registration and Experience: You must be currently registered with AHPRA or have In-Principle approval. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing is required.
- Post Graduate Certificate: A Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing is desirable.
- Compliance and Communication: You must comply with ACQSHC National standards and demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: You must be capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
