We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at HealthcareLink Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coordination: Take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care.
- Patient Care and Support: Provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their health care, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Professional Development: Maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
HealthcareLink Support is a leading healthcare provider in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. Our hospital features a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries.
Requirements- Registration and Experience: Current Registration with AHPRA or In-Principle approval and a minimum 2 years experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Nursing environment.
- Education and Certifications: Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards) - Desired.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficient in making sound clinical decisions and solving problems effectively, demonstrates exceptional communication and customer service abilities, and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
