About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer in Counselling to join our team at the Australian College of Applied Professions. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students in the Bachelor and Masters of Counselling programs
  • Develop and review course and unit materials to ensure they are innovative and effective
  • Provide academic leadership and support to academic staff in the Counselling discipline
  • Contribute to scholarly research projects and publications in the field of Counselling
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years lecturing experience in the Counselling discipline
  • Masters of Counselling and/or PhD
  • Minimum of 5 years industry practice in the Counselling field
  • Eligibility for membership of ACA, PACFA, or APS
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and mentoring students in Counselling
