The successful applicant will work in a cooperative and flexible team environment, providing operational and administrative support to the Learmonth Solar Observatory and the wider Space Weather Network.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot and provide technical support for network equipment and infrastructure
* Maintain and update WHSE documents and assessments
* Manage projects and contractors
* Provide local technical support for meteorological observing systems
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of attention to detail
* Willingness to undertake self-driven learning and on-the-job training
* Experience with electronics and/or radio systems highly regarded
