About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Employment Hub Global. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solar power systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Plan Solar Power Systems: Review and plan power generation equipment and networks in accordance with our site plans or as guided by our supervising Manager.
  2. Develop Solar System Designs: Plan and execute solar system designs using CAD, and 3D CAD or SolidWorks programs.
  3. Interpret Engineering Designs: Contribute to the interpretation of engineering designs from design calculations, drawings, specifications, and control systems to application standards and equipment regulation on time, cost-effectively, and fit for purpose for the project and business requirements.
  4. Coordinate Power Equipment Delivery: Establish and maintain strong and effective power equipment delivery and installation schedules with other members of the specialist and regional teams.
  5. Provide Engineering Support: Provide the sites with engineering troubleshooting support either directly or by coordinating the input of engineering specialists.
  6. Develop Market-Demanded Solar Power Equipment: Assist the team in developing market-demanded solar power equipment and appliances to satisfy customer requirements.
  7. Maintain Solar Power Equipment: Monitor and ensure business clients' solar power equipment are all properly maintained within set time limits and to safety & quality standards.
  8. Establish Working Relationships: Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist, sales, and customers both in electrical products delivery and installation.
  9. Monitor and Report Engineering Activities: Monitor and report related engineering activities and their defined parts of the work breakdown structure.
  10. Participate in Project Meetings: Participate in various solar power project-related meetings and research on the latest power generation and transmission systems and equipment as required.
  11. Analyse Systems and Plan Solar Power Equipment: Analyse respective systems and customer requirements and plan the solar power equipment system from design drawings to engineering changes to circuit-breaker arrangement, etc.
  12. Communicate Design Changes: Undertake active communication with relevant stakeholders regarding relevant design changes.
Requirements
  1. Electrical Engineering Background: Above bachelor's qualification in Electrical Engineering background would be highly preferred.
  2. Australian Electrical Standards: Familiarity with Australian electrical standards, AS/NZS 3000, 3008 etc.
  3. Relevant Working Experience: More than 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role is a must.
  4. Electrical Engineering Design Programs: Proficiency with electrical engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks essential.
  5. Cross-Team Collaboration: Cross-team collaboration - Integrate into multi-disciplinary design teams to support project delivery.
  6. Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication capability in English or Mandarin or other second language skills will be highly regarded.
  7. Computer Literacy: Excellent general computer literacy skills as well as strong specialist knowledge of discipline-based applications software.
  8. Time Management: Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
