Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team in a permanent full-time role. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert clinical knowledge and care for consumers/patients with various conditions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to support the general function of the unit through role modeling and application of principles of evidence-based, consumer/patient-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

You will also provide support and guidance to Registered Nurses and other non-registered nursing staff in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties according to Schedule 2, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health Award GLS Nurse Grade 6 Band 1, and adhere to Queensland Health's commitments and values to achieve organizational goals and practice domains.
  • Practice ethically and professionally, complying with relevant standards and legislation, maintaining current knowledge within the scope of practice.
  • Apply advanced clinical nursing skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Respond effectively to sudden changes in patient health status, providing support and direction using advanced assessment and intervention skills.
