Job Opportunity in Orthopaedic Surgery

Brisbane Private Hospital has established itself as a centre of excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery, boasting an impressive team of over 30 dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeons who utilise the latest technology.

We are seeking experienced Theatre Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team on a full time, part time or casual basis. You will work alongside our team to provide exceptional care throughout patient procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Aiming to achieve optimal patient outcomes by following evidence-based practice and adhering to best clinical standards.
  • Demonstrating expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management within the theatre environment.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.
  • Working collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements include:

  • A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse.
  • Registration with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
  • A Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing is highly desirable or working towards.
