We're a boutique angel investment firm with a sharp focus on early-stage, high-growth startups. Our team is small, tightly knit, and passionate about uncovering the next generation of industry-defining companies.

The position requires you to conduct market research, analyze financial data, and prepare investment recommendations for the company. This role requires strong analytical skills, a broad understanding of different industries, and the ability to assess the potential of new ventures.

We're looking for a self-starter—someone who thrives with autonomy and isn't just great at spotting opportunities, but knows how to create them. While you'll be supported by a small, experienced team, this role is best suited for someone with a proactive mindset—someone who's ready to drive real impact and help take our operation to the next level.

Ideally, you're based in the Gold Coast Australia, but the role will begin as remote/work-from-home, offering flexibility as we grow together.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on specific industries and emerging trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective companies, including evaluating their business model, market position, and financial performance.
  • Prepare investment recommendations based on research and analysis, often including valuation and risk assessments.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing the company's portfolio, including tracking company performance and providing updates.
  • Build relationships with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and investment recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a related field such as investment banking, private equity, or consulting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts and modeling.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and due diligence.
