Are you looking for a rewarding career in waste management?

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Yard Hand to join our team on a casual/temp to perm basis.

This is an ongoing position, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to become permanent after a successful trial period of 3-6 months.

The successful candidate will have a current and valid Forklift license and be able to use basic hand tools. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain an effective relationship with managers and other divisional staff.

- Exercise proper caution and report unsafe conditions/acts.

- Wash and prepare plastic and steel bins for delivery to customers, utilizing pressure washers and ensuring timely delivery.

- Maintain appropriate stock levels of bins and stickers.

- Follow directions assigned to ensure smooth and effective bin management.

- Maintain the site yard(s) to a standard of cleanliness and organisation to ensure safe and smooth daily operations.

Hours: 5am - 1:30pm including lunch and tea breaks. Some overtime may be required.

Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate of $34.16

- Overtime pay and penalty rates

- Ability to commute to Campbellfield, VIC

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Day shift

- Monday to Friday
