**Job Overview**

4 Healthcare Recruitment is proud to partner with a community provider dedicated to enriching the lives of its clients.

The organisation has recently secured a contract with the public health system for one of their community health funded programs.

This non-NDIS program offers a unique opportunity for Occupational Therapists to evaluate clients' functional capacity, home environment, and support needs.

**Salary and Benefits**

The successful candidate will be paid up to $245 per report, providing a competitive income in line with industry standards.

In addition, this role offers hybrid working options, allowing for a better work-life balance.

**Job Description**

As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional capacity, home environment, and support needs.

This will include Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental ADL assessments, focusing on tasks such as showering, dressing, mobility, and community access.

You will also identify the need for Assistive Technologies, evaluate barriers to independence, and provide tailored recommendations to enhance safety and quality of life.

The reports will include clinical observations, client-reported challenges, and actionable recommendations to maximise independence and autonomy.

These are non-NDIS reports which are usually no more than 4 pages in length.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Australia
  • A caring, confident, and professional manner, including strong correspondence and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Strong commitment to growing your clinical skills and knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills
