About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at AAM Investment Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural assets across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Coordination: Coordinate and allocate maintenance work across our sites, ensuring effective delivery of planned and unplanned work.
  2. Risk Management: Champion the use of risk identification and hazard controls for maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety of our team and assets.
  3. Work Allocation: Allocate daily work to team members, ensuring shift handovers are smooth and information is communicated effectively.
  4. Hands-on Work: Carry out hands-on trade work as needed, utilizing your qualifications and experience.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and effectiveness of maintenance tasks, identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Training and Development: Identify training and coaching opportunities to enhance the skills and abilities of team members.
  7. Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the development and improvement of preventative maintenance tasks, working closely with the Maintenance Planner.
  8. Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping standards in the workshop, parts store, and tool store.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with other trades and roles within the maintenance team, including contractors, to deliver maintenance work and achieve required outcomes.
  10. KPI Achievement: Assist in achieving maintenance key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Skills: Demonstrate sound delegation, performance management, and time management skills.
  2. Teamwork: Ability to work closely with other trades and roles within the maintenance team.
  3. Technical Skills: Sound understanding and demonstrated ability to use a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) or demonstrated ability to quickly master these skills.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated willingness and enthusiasm to continually improve skills, abilities, and experience in relevant aspects of maintenance, reliability, and engineering.
  5. Production Support: Understanding of the need to actively support production requirements and the internal customer relationship between production and maintenance.
  6. Reliability Focus: Strong commitment to achieving measurable improvement in maintenance practices and continual improvement in equipment reliability and uptime.
