Job Overview

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the educational institution while overseeing the maintenance of the premises. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Performing ongoing repairs and miscellaneous tasks as required.
  2. Installing shelving and display boards as needed.
  3. Overseeing maintenance contractors on-site as instructed.
  4. Receiving and distributing ordered supplies, materials, and equipment, verifying delivery notes, and ensuring proper receipt by staff.
  5. Maintaining adequate stock levels of essential consumables such as tissues, soaps, batteries, and more.
  6. Managing timely waste collection, including recyclables, for the institution.
  7. Arranging furniture and setting up or dismantling tables and chairs for various events and meetings.
  8. Monitoring the entrance during school events; some after-hours work may be required.
  9. Organizing and maintaining records related to water management.
  10. Keeping pest control records.
  11. Collecting and documenting data on waste management and energy usage.

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will also serve as a trusted Key Holder for the institution, responsible for fulfilling any related duties, including responding to alarm activations.

Candidate Profile

Location: Lucknow
Qualification: Graduation
Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior experience in a school environment is preferred.
Employment Type: Full Time
Preferred Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and effective interaction with various stakeholders including parents and educators.
