Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and Software Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished professional in Cyber Security and Software Engineering to lead teaching and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic guidance, and adhere to university teaching protocols.
- Research: Maintain a strong record of high-impact research as lead contributor in top-tier international journals and disciplinary publications. Initiate and lead competitive research funding applications as chief investigator. Lead the transfer of research outcomes to end-users, including commercialization of intellectual property. Contribute to discipline service through editorial board or leadership positions. Shape strategic research agendas and represent the discipline in leading academic forums and utilize best practice research methodologies.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback and training, resolve conflicts, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
- Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Software Engineering and/or Cyber Security, a sustained record of excellence in teaching and research, international recognition and a strong publication profile, proven success in securing and managing significant research funding, experience in leading research teams and mentoring junior academics, a commitment to inclusive education and student success, expertise in curriculum design and pedagogical innovation, and a demonstrated record of leadership in service and engagement.
