Job Description:We are seeking a visionary educator and researcher to develop and deliver innovative courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate programs, assess students, provide academic guidance, and adhere to our university's teaching rules.
The ideal candidate will contribute to cutting-edge areas such as trustworthy software systems, binary code analysis, operating systems security, AI-assisted software testing and DevOps, AI for Cyber Security, and vulnerability assessment.
This role offers the chance to apply generative AI and large language models (LLM) to real-world challenges—making software more secure by design or through proactive threat detection.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Software Engineering and/or Cyber Security, a sustained record of excellence in teaching and research, international recognition and a strong publication profile, proven success in securing and managing significant research funding, experience in leading research teams and mentoring junior academics, a commitment to inclusive education and student success, expertise in curriculum design and pedagogical innovation, and a demonstrated record of leadership in service and engagement.
