Job Overview

The Supply Planning Manager role entails overseeing a team of material and supply planners in a category, ensuring mid- to long-term production and material plans are in place in line with approved business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for review and approval
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supply planners
  • Meet performance metrics including customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the category's goals
  • Deliver performance against master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity) and material requirements using system tools
  • Contribute to supply review and escalate issues
  • Support and implement improvements in planning to meet performance metrics
Requirements
  • Comprehensive experience in supply chain, economics, finance, or logistics, with strong business acumen, ideally within FMCG/CPG
  • Ability to learn new ways of working; hands-on with data and systems
  • Experience driving supply reviews and participating in an Integrated Business Planning cycle
  • Capacity to influence cross-functional teams and improve the plan
  • Ability to build effective teams
  • Knowledgeable about leading-practice supply planning and end-to-end concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
