Strategic Risk Management Professional

Job Overview

As a Strategic Risk Management Professional, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's risk management framework. This critical position demands exceptional leadership skills to embed robust control assurance practices across the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic control assurance frameworks that ensure effective risk management.
  • Conduct thorough control assurance reviews and provide timely advice on risk and compliance matters.
  • Oversee the quality, delivery, and integration of the Controls Assurance Program.
  • Build assurance capabilities within the team and broader risk community.
  • Independently review and challenge the rigor of Line 1 assurance activities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk and compliance, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder development, management, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to lead, manage, and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
