Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Manager, Business Risk Partner in a high-impact portfolio risk leadership position.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver immediate impact at the executive level in a short-term but highly visible assignment. As part of this role, you will provide oversight and advisory across finance and operations portfolios, ensuring robust risk profiles, strong governance forums, and effective remediation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Inputting into and overseeing risk profiles for Finance and Operations portfolios.
  2. Partnering with senior executives to uplift governance and risk management.
  3. Leading portfolio-level risk assessments and providing actionable insights.
  4. Providing governance and secretariat support to risk committees.
  5. Ensuring accurate data and reporting within enterprise GRC systems.
  6. Advising on remediation activities and project risk.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years' experience in risk, audit, or compliance across large enterprises.
  • Strong governance and risk profiling capability.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders with credibility.
  • Familiarity with GRC systems and risk reporting processes.
