Nurse Unit Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care to our consumers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and clinical expertise, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert clinical nursing care to consumers affected by domestic and family violence.
  • Leading and supporting nursing staff through education, training, and clinical leadership to promote safe and high-quality care.
  • Using information systems and performance data to guide quality improvement and adherence to corporate policies and nursing standards.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships and managing conflicts to ensure sustainable and efficient service delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including advanced communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Domestic and Family Violence health assessment processes and documentation.
  • At least 3 years post-registration nursing experience, with competence in community nursing and experience in areas such as Sexual Health, Aboriginal Health, Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol, or Community Health.
